The snaps are made from scratch by the family company Saturnus in Malmö, where the focus is on keeping the spices as local as possible. Dried spices come to us and we leave them in alcohol and water for 8-14 days. We then distill each spice separately. It gives us full control over finding the flavor balance we are happy with. The archipelago schnapps have a wide variety of flavors with everything from traditional aquavit, fresh schnapps with meadow sorrel, blackcurrant schnapps and elder schnapps. There is also a mix in alcohol content that ranges between 38%-32% depending on the type of schnapps you are looking for and what you usually appreciate in a schnapps.
