Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine made from the Glera grape. This light, fruity sparkling wine from Northern Italy has been very successful all over the world. Unlike Champagne and Cava, the wine is fermented on pressure tank. This makes the bubbles more lively than with the classic fermentation method. The wine should be drunk young, so that the fruity and fresh aromas come out best.
