On the grounds of Domaine Cantarelle there are many relics from Roman times. The Romans not only gave their name to Provence, "Provincia Romana", but they also brought the vine to the area early, around the year 0. Domain Cantarelle was founded in 1974 and developed by the Dieudonné family. During the 2000s they grew into the largest vineyard in the Coteaux Varois de Provence. The authenticity of the terroir, its colors, perfumes and landscape immediately seduced Pascal Debon, who became the owner of the domaine in 2017. A new adventure began with significant investments in both the vineyards and the wine production to produce wines of even higher quality. Domaine Cantarelle is in the process of being certified as High Environmental Value (HVE).
